It’s still 2018, but the tenth edition of the hep CHALLENGE HEILBRONN powered by Audi in 2019 is already casting its shadow. The organization team of the Challenge can look forward to welcoming one of Germany’s top triathletes on 19th May with the announcement of Daniela Sämmler from Darmstadt.
Sämmler can already look forward to the start in Heilbronn: “Not only because I was able to win the race in the last two years, I associate many beautiful moments with the event. The Challenge Heilbronn is one of my absolute favorite races, thanks to the selective, demanding bike route and the great atmosphere while running through the city center. Especially this year, the victory gave me a lot of confidence for the rest of the season.” After Heilbronn, Sämmler won the long distance race of Challenge Roth with a new German best time. Now she hopes in the anniversary year on managing the title hattrick: “Of course, the opportunity for the” triple “appeals to me particularly and is already motivation enough for the upcoming preparation for the new season.”
In addition to Sämmler more than 1,500 other triathletes and triathletes already checked-in for the event, and thus almost as many as 2018 have started in total. With the new bike course since 2018 and the hosting of the German Middle Distance Championships in 2019, Heilbronn continues to be very popular among the athletes. “What a great attendance and confirmation of our work,” said the organizers of the hep CHALLENGE HEILBRONN powered by Audi, the brothers Kai and Rik Sauser.”
