The feedback and the popularity for the middle distance race at the hep CHALLENGE HEILBRONN powered by AUDI is amazing and therefore there was a provisional registration stop two weeks ago. Now there is another chance for 100 starters to participate in the anniversary edition. On time at 19:00 on Friday, 25th of January 2019, the final remaining contingent will be on sale. The Heilbronn organizers and the German Triathlon Union are looking forward to once again giving several athletes the chance to participate in the German Championships over the middle distance.
“We are overwhelmed how quickly we were able to fill the contingent this year. That did not happen in the ten-year history of the race in Heilbronn, “says organizer Kai Sauser. If these slots are booked, there would be no way to check in for the middle distance, Sauser continued. On the Sprint Distance and the Olympic distance, however, it looks better: for both competitions are still about 200 slots available.
Probably in February, the makers of the triathlon #inthecenterofthecity will be able to announce this year’s change of the bike course. “Everything is going according to plan in the preparation,” reports Sauser. “We hope the athletes are the same and we look forward to a fantastic race day on 19 th of May 2019!”
